Von den Weserbergländer Herzen helfen e. V.  habe ich mir Stoff schicken lassen, um Spendenquilts für SOS Kinderdörfer zu nähen. Ein bisschen hat es mir vor den Kurven gegraut, aber es hat wirklich super geklappt, Mut zur Rundung!

Es hat mir auch einen riesen Spaß gemacht, die Tiere auszusuchen, das Layout zu entwerfen. Das quilten natürlich und eine Freundin aus meiner Nähgruppe war so nett und fleißig und hat das Binding angenäht. 
Das Ergebnis: Spitze!

A Charity thing Wee Animal Quilt

I got the fabric from Weserbergländer Herzen helfen e. V. a public charity organisation. They give quilts to SOS Childrenvillages here in germany. I was a bit apprehensive about the curves, but it worked out wonderfully.

I had lots of fun with choosing the animals and designing the layout and with the quilting. A friend from my sewing group was so nice and put the binding on.
The result: Fantastic!
